NewzBrain at Home is a weekly current-events learning system for homeschool families and co-ops, built around quiz play, challenges, and measurable progress.
No. It is a focused supplement you can run in minutes each week to build awareness, consistency, and motivation.
Most families spend about 10-15 minutes weekly on Quiz Bowl, with optional time for Monthly Challenge and Classroom Games.
Plans & Billing
Billing follows the school year. Choose Monthly (School Year) or School Year billing.
Monthly billing runs from August through May only, with no June or July charges. It resumes next school year unless canceled.
Monthly bills only for remaining billed months through May. School Year pricing is prorated for the rest of the current year, then renews at full annual price next school year.
Yes. If you choose Monthly billing, you can cancel anytime before your next billing date to avoid future charges. There are also no charges in June or July.
Co-Op & Family Usage
Family covers one household. Co-Op includes participating households plus co-op rankings, team-based Monthly Challenge, and group/classroom-style gameplay.
No. Many families choose Co-Op for group competition and team-style play even outside a formal organization.
No. Each household uses its own account with separate students and progress tracking.
Yes. You can start with Family and move to Co-Op later when you are ready for group play.
Co-op plans are designed to split across families, so per-student cost is often just a few dollars in active groups.
Rankings & Competition
Yes. Students use the same weekly questions and scoring system, so homeschool students can compare directly on national rankings.
Rankings provide objective progress over time and make weekly participation more motivating through healthy competition.

Setup & Payments
After payment. Checkout is intentionally short, and full household/co-op setup happens in the post-payment flow.
You are guided through account setup, student setup, and co-op invites (if applicable), then can begin Quiz Bowl and challenge features right away.
Payments are processed by Stripe. Card data is encrypted and handled by Stripe, and NewzBrain does not store full card details on app servers.
Yes. Student progress stays tied to each profile, so history remains available across eligible plan changes.
